Ubuntu,  It is a operating system as we use Windows in computer or android operating system for mobile. Ubuntu is Linux based open source operating system. Ubuntu can use as web server, data server and workstation. Today’s famous Linux system as available, Red Heat Linus, Linux Mint, Pop!_OS, Fedora, Manjaro, Kali Linux, Tail, Slackware. Ubuntu OS (Operation system) is not much difficulty but Linux and windows application are different. Can not use apps for each other. But some Java based applications work for Linux and windows OS. Here we will guide how to install Ubuntu 26.04 LTS on laptop.  Laptop must have 25 GB Storage space and 8GB our above Flash drive. We can download Ubuntu ISO from its original site.  Create bootable USB stick via windows or from Linux.

• Plug USB in pc and boot from USB flash drive and follow the installer.

• Chose your language English or select as you need.

• Select any accessibility setting that your require.

• Select your keyboard layout.

• Connect To network, this allow Ubuntu to download updates and third party drivers during installation. The network connection is optional, we can install Ubuntu without Net connection.

• Here installer will give you the choice to install or try/visit Ubuntu operations.

• Next windows shows types of installation,

  • Interactive installation, for users who experience and guide step by step through the installation.

  • Automated with auto install files, four advance user who can install automated and reconfigure after setup.

• Chose Default selection our extended selection.

• Install third party software and install additional media formats.

• Select erase disk and install Ubuntu our manual installation on select disk our disk portion.

• Select you wants encrypt your data, and select encryption passphrases.

• Manual selection of disks, it will show as below.

Here is showing pretentions VFAT, NTFS, EXT4 . Actually VFAT and NTFS portion for windows and Linux have its own portions system EXT4, Linus Mount Point show / and windows mount point /boot/efi.

• We can install Ubuntu with other operation system

• Fill form with your name, computer name,  user name and password

• Select time zone

• Now it is ready to install and final press install button.

• It will take 10-20 Minutes as per computer speed to install. After restart you can login as per login password.
